There's an ongoing knock-knock joke my mother likes to tell whose punchline is: Knock knock! Who's there? Orange. Orange who? Orange you glad I didn't say 'Banana'?
Yuk, yuk, yuk. All joking aside, by far the most prolific color trend at New York Fashion Week was the color orange. Bright, bold and nearly always monochromatic, nearly every designer sent some shade of this color down the runway, thus begging the eventual question, orange you glad it wasn't banana-yellow?
