Treasure Trove / by LD

Whenever I'm at Disneyland (which is often) it's very likely that I'll ride Pirates of the Caribbean. There's a part on the ride wherein the boat passes through a pirate's bedroom/cave/treasure cove, and every time I see the dust-covered mountains of doubloons and jewels, I can't help but think of my own cavelike bedroom. The amount of jewelry I've amassed over the years is hefty and I've usually got it scattered around in heaps and piles in every square inch of available space in my house.

Today I decided to organize it - and attempted to detangle the behemoth rat king of necklaces slumped sadly on the floor, among other things. Though the results might still look like a pirate-y lair to the severely OCD amongst you, trust me when I say that it's a vast improvement over its previous state of affairs. And if you look closely, you might even see a few skulls and bones lurking in there. Avast!
